BLEND is back! Wine event in Seattle 9/16

Head to Bell Harbor Conference Center (don’t let the dry name fool you – the view from this place is amazing as it’s on the Seattle waterfront over looking the sound and mountains – the perfect place to sip) for BLEND on September 16th – a fabulous event featuring forty Washington state wine producers who are pouring wines that fall into the category of a blend.  Buy tickets here or keep reading to find out how to enter to win a pair yourself! Created with the purpose of helping people fully enjoy and understand how blended wines are created, BLEND features:

  • Barrel blending stations featuring Washington winemakers pouring samples that comprise one of their signature blends
  • International tasting tables featuring blends from Argentina, France, Italy and Spain courtesy of Wine World 
  • Bubble Lounge featuring sparkling wine, champagne and oysters courtesy of Taylor Shellfish Farms
  • Wine blends from 40 top producers in Washington State
  • Opportunities to win getaways and culinary experiences in the Pacific Northwest and Sonoma at Columbia Hospitality’s fabulous hotels and resorts

…and more!

Seafood Ceviche with Tequila Lime Brine and Avocado Corn Salad from Bell Harbor International Conference Center

Char-Grilled Octopus, Braised Artichoke, Preserved Lemon and Pesto Verde from Kenwood Inn and Spa

Poached Prawn Tower, Gazpacho Consommé, Harissa Crisp Salish Honey and Cucumber Gelée from Salish Lodge & Spa – Snoqualmie, Washington

  5. There are many I’m excited to try, but anything Kiona pours (no list on the website of what they’re pouring yet) is always awesome. I also love Domaine Blanc de Blanc in the bubble room :) My favorite part of Blend in the Bubble Lounge, hands down!!
