$50 gift card contest: Seattle Restaurant Week returns! April 8 – 12, 15 – 19

We’re just a few days away from one of the most delicious times of the year – Seattle Restaurant Week!  Don’t let the name fool you, it’s actually two weeks long (April 8-12 and 15-19) and there are SO many restaurants to choose from.  It’s an opportunity for diners to try new restaurants that they haven’t experienced before, so take a look at the list and find somewhere you haven’t visited yet! They make it easy for us – you can sort by neighborhood to find restaurants near your home or work.  Don’t forget, many of the 150+ restaurants involved are also offering great lunch menus as well. Click on an individual restaurant’s name to see what their fixed menu is – pick your favorites and go! Seattle Pockets recommends you plan a few lunch and dinner outings during these days to make the most of this great deal.  Dinners include appetizer, entrée and dessert, with 3 options per course – all for just $28.  For many of these participating restaurants, this is a huge steal! Reservations are HIGHLY recommended, so be sure to book ahead. Seattleite Magazine reports on the fun QR contest SRW is hosting- find these and scan to enter to win some great prizes.

3 restaurants I’m considering visiting during this promotion that I’ve never been before are Cuoco, Anchovies & Olives, and Cafe Flora.

Restaurants I recommend are: Bako, Barrio, Marche, Serious Pie and Via Tribunali (all new to SRW this year), Palisade, RN74 and Purple Cafe.

Now for the fun part – contest time! Seattle Pockets is giving away a $50 gift card to a mutually agreed upon restaurant between the winner and SRW.  Contest ends 11:59pm Pacific Time, Monday April 9th, prize to be used April 15-19.

Here’s how to enter (you can enter both ways)

1) Post a comment on this blog! Share with us the restaurant you’re most excited to visit during SRW or one you’ve visited during previous SRWs

2) Follow @keridwyn and @SeattleRW on twitter & tweet

I want to win $50 to @SeattleRW from @keridwyn #seattlepockets / contest: http://bit.ly/HmsCgS

  1. Sweet delicious restaurant week! Deciding between Crush and Chez Shea. They both look so good, though; might just have to go to both!

  2. Two that I’m looking at going to next week are The Coterie Room and BOKA Kitchen+Bar! Going to the Hard Rock as well, even though I’ve already been… can’t pass up the amazing deal!

  3. First up is Marche, really looking forward to seeing what’s happening with the new changes made. But equally excited for stop #2 ……Cantinetta. Have heard so many great things about the place and SRW this is the perfect way to try them out. #3…..come on, even a “foodie” has to “stop and smell the roses”.

  4. I would be super stoked to try Spur Gastropub for dinner because Kelsey Hunsinger took me there for french toast ice cream and it had me hook-line-and-sinker! So delicious. I’d also like to try Golden Beetle, because a golden beetle sounds simultaneously majestically exotic and not appetizing at all, so I think it would be quite the adventure to check it out. Nom nom nom.

  6. I accidentally walked into the SRW at Spring Hill last year and it was fantastic. I haven’t tried their new theme yet.

    • Oh! I haven’t tried them yet – thanks for the suggestion! I’m not vegetarian either but try to not eat meat when possible and have many veggie friends. Will have to give them a try!
