Seattle Restaurant Week is back – this week and next, Sunday – Thursdays! Get 3 courses for only $28 – a slamming deal at so many great Seattle restaurants! Also, many restaurants offer 3 courses for $15 at lunch time!
So, the name is a little confusing. By “Week” they really mean weeks. Not really sure why they’re not adjusting the name. But whatever. It’s delicious and twice as long as it implies. And the best news: you still have time to go.
I’m going to hit Icon Grill for lunch with my pal Ginger (who I’m excited about seeing – she’s been traveling around Paris, Munich and Venice recently – can’t wait to hear her stories). I’m loving that this promotion happens during Fall – the menus are so delightful!
SO looking forward to my lunch at Icon Grill tomorrow. It’s going to include Mushroom Risotto as the entree (two of my favorite things in one dish), a mini hot fudge sundae for dessert…but I can’t decide on the appetizer! Check out these options:
Butternut Squash Soup w/ Cashew Salsa (I don’t really like soup or squash but for some bizarre reason I love squash soup)
Grilled Pear Salad with Pomagranate Vinaigrette (sounds fresh and delicious!)
icon Grill’s Handmade Tater Tots stuffed with smoked cheddar and bacon (if you know me well, you probably know I LOVE tatertots! Never had stuffed ones though)
or Bay Shrimp and Artichoke Heart Salad with a Creamy Lemon Dressing (swoon!)
(I’m sad the fried mac and cheese – which I’ve had before and is one of the best mac and cheese dishes in Seattle is only on the dinner SRW menu, but here’s a photo in case you go to dinner instead of lunch like me):
Want to enter to win a $50 gift card to Icon Grill? Check out the menu and let me know what appetizer/entree/dessert you would choose for lunch or dinner in the comments. You can get a second entry into the contest by commenting the same info on the Seattle Pockets Facebook post here.
Enter by 11:59pm Pacific Time on 10/18/13. Winner will be chosen using random.org. All local and state rules apply
Butternut squash soup/risotto/apple spice cake.
Great, now I want all of these.

I’d do dinner because the flank steak sounds delish! I can’t decide between the salad and soup for the appetizer, but probably the soup. I LOVE butternut squash soup. And for dessert, I think the pumpkin bread pudding, although the apple dessert sounds so good, too! I like to go with someone else who will share two desserts 🙂
