GIVEAWAY: Seattle Cheese & Meat Festival on April 29

Brie. Gouda. Havarti. BRING IT ON. I’m giddy with excitement for the Seattle Cheese & Meat Festival!
The Seattle Cheese and Meat Festival is in town one day only on April 29 with two times to choose from. This festival will be at McCaw Hall (I was recently there for Pop! Bubbles and Seafood—this is a great venue for tasting events!)
Proceeds from this event will go directly to Food Lifeline, which helps provide 90K meals a day to local food assistance programs and is working to create a sustainable approach to ending hunger in Western Washington.
So YES: delicious bites (and sips! What would a cheese event be without wine?!) for a great cause. Plus you can also purchase some of your favorite bites before you leave the event.
Local purveyors include: Salumi, Fancy Ass Olives, Finnriver Farm & Cidery, Odin Brewing, Pastrome, Tamer’s Beef Jerky, Masquerade Wine, Smith Brothers Farms, French Cider, Ferndale, Silver Springs Creamery, Twin Sisters Creamery, Friday Harbor House of Jerky, Mollusk, Darigold (a co-op of local dairy producers), The Farmstead, Honest Biscuits, Blue Mountain Affinage Company, Full Circle Farm, and more!
“The festival gives attendees the ability to learn about new cheeses, meats, and pairings while tasting the product itself. The vast array of food they taste gives attendees sense of that next charcuterie board build,” Festival said Dave Bain, Cheese and Meat Festival Producer. “It also allows mom and pop shops to showcase their homemade recipes.”
This event is 21+. Tickets at cheeseandmeatfestival.com/seattle.
