“When one has much to put into them, a day has a hundred pockets.” – Nietzsche
When I found this quote, I knew it was the blog name inspiration I had been searching for. “Seattle Pockets” was born. This blog is my casual outlet to spread the word about Seattle experiences, a few stay-at-home ideas, and some personal “inside pockets.”

I’ve been told by some that they consider me their own “personal concierge” to Seattle, while others have claimed I have my “thumb on the pulse of the city.” So flattering! It’s true I love experiencing a wide range of activities. Food and wine events, live performances, burlesque, art exhibitions, costume parties, dancing, restaurants, charity events, and beyond. When I’m not out painting the town, I love to curl up with a good book in my bean bag room, listen to podcasts, watch Netflix & Hulu, meditate, and enjoy each sunny Seattle day as if it’s the last one we’ll see all year.
I support charities such as Alzheimer’s Association, Delete Blood Cancer, Youth Care, Kiva, Northwest Harvest and the Pike Market Senior Center & Downtown Food Bank. Every holiday season, we adopt families through our local YWCA to provide them with gifts and money for groceries.
My travel stories have appeared in publications such as 7×7 and Seattle Refined (KOMO/ABC).
