When I found this quote, I knew it was the blog name inspiration I had been searching for. “Seattle Pockets” was born.  This blog is my casual outlet to spread the word about Seattle and online experiences, a few stay-at-home ideas, and some personal “inside pockets.”

I’ve been told by some that they consider me their own “personal concierge” to Seattle, while others have claimed I have my “thumb on the pulse of the city.”  So flattering! It’s true I love experiencing a wide range of activities. Food and wine events, live performances, burlesque, art exhibitions, costume parties, dancing, restaurants, happy hours, charity events, and beyond.  When I’m not out painting the town, I love to curl up with a good book in my bean bag room, listen to podcasts, watch Netflix & Hulu, meditate, and enjoy each sunny Seattle day as if it’s the last one we’ll see all year.

Covid-19 Update as of December 2020: I like to be safe and keep others safe. I don’t eat at restaurants but instead support local restaurants with takeout and delivery orders. I work with my clients online (fortunately I was working with many clients online before the pandemic). I now enjoy teleparties (co-watching from each of our homes), online game nights, online theatre and puzzle rooms and more.

I support charities such as Alzheimer’s Association, Delete Blood Cancer, Youth Care, Kiva,  Northwest Harvest and the Pike Market Senior Center & Downtown Food Bank.
