Uber is a town car company here in Seattle that is a lot like a cab – but with greater convenience and service! Just download the app – you can see how far the nearest car is from you before you request it, then a swanky black town car comes and picks you up!  I love following the car along the map in the app – it also texts you when it’s close and has arrived! No calling Yellow Cab 20 minutes later just to find out that someone stole the cab you’d been waiting on.  Plus, the app charges your credit card directly, including tip, so you don’t have to carry cash or wait while they run your card.  Short trips are just a few bucks more than a cab and the service and convenience is worth it.
