The Mayans DIDN’T say the world was ending! Mayan descendants believe today marks the end of an era and the beginning of a new one.
Why have we totally ignored this? I’m amazed how many people don’t realize the doomsday myth was something that others made up later. Today, people celebrate the dawning of something new as we wrap ourselves in something untrue, ignoring what the people from that culture actually have to say in the matter.
Call it the dawning of a new era, the age of aquarius, a shift in thought…lets make every tomorrow matter. Be kind, be generous. be hopeful.
