The superstar of your dreams in a one-night show. Lady Rizo!

You guys. You GUYS! I’m so RIDICULOUSLY excited for a show happening tomorrow night. The only (ONLY!) issue I have with it is that it’s only ONE night in Seattle—April 6! But besides that (and the fact that two of her BIGGEST fans, my fiancé and amazing friend Erin can’t go): EVERYTHING is right with this show.

Lady Rizo is the superstar of your dreams. She’s quirky with an amazing set of lungs. She’s enchanting and wacky. She’s fierce and lovable.  Lady Rizo is so spectacular, she might be a super human. Jury is still out. I can’t think of a performer I’ve loved seeing live more than her (and there are a LOT of performers I love). Yes, I totally fan-girl over this woman. Because she DESERVES it! There’s nobody like Rizo.

Oh, did I mention this one night show is at Teatro Zinzanni? A gorgeous venue! Thank you for giving this woman her own show, TZ!

About the show: “Lady Rizo: Multiplied.

“Lady Rizo is back at Teatro ZinZanni, this time with a baby on her hip!

New York City’s prized cabaret superstar, multi-award winner Lady Rizo, explores how fecundity and parenthood fit with the revelry of showbiz. Backed by a choice Seattle trio, Rizo rips apart carefully chosen pop songs and her own stirring originals. An entertainment machine even at four months post-partum, her soulful vocals and titillating humor will leave you breathless in her gloved palm. Just don’t inhale the baby powder! Recommended for ages 18 and up.”

April 6. Doors at 6 pm, Show at 7:30. 85 min run time.

When my friend Erin and I were whining (for the third time) whyyyyy Rizo made this show one night only, Erin responded “It’s baby brain. She just forgot.” Clearly, that’s the explanation.

So seriously, get your calendar out. Cancel the plans you might have if you can. If you have plans with friends, take them to this show. You can all thank me later. No, just thank Lady Rizo.

This show will also be delighting Oregon audiences April 10 and 14, 2016.
