The Land of the Sweets: The Burlesque Nutcracker is back for it’s 6th year!  This “spectacle of  ecdysiastic pageantry” opened last night at The Triple Door and plays until December 24th.  I’m excited to check it out live for the first time tomorrow night.  In a town swimming in Burlesque shows, this group of performers are some of the cream of the crop, including Lily Verlaine, Miss Indigo Blue, Kitten La Rue and Jasper McCann of The Atomic Bombshells and one of my personal favorite performers in Seattle: DanceBelt’s Waxie Moon.
