CorePower Yoga opened this month in Ballard, just in time for National Yoga Month! They are currently giving away one week free of yoga to new students (and keep reading for your chance to win a $20 gift card)!
CorePower Yoga strives to make yoga accessible to all levels. “Seattle is a city with a vibrant culture of active people, and we are thrilled to become a part of this community,” said Sarah Goble, manager of the new studio and regional manager and director of teacher training for CorePower Yoga’s Northwest Region. “We look forward to welcoming new yoga students of all ability levels – from people who have experienced the benefits of yoga for years to those who are just trying it out for the first time.”
Class schedules, here: www.corepoweryoga.com.
Classes are set to energizing music and “promote both physical and mental benefits”. “National Yoga Month is the perfect time to give yoga a try if you’re a first-timer, or to reinvigorate your practice if you’re an experienced yogi,” said Goble. “Regardless of your skill level, we hope to create an environment where members of the Ballard community can interact and flourish.” CoreYoga plans to open a second Seattle yoga studio in the Capitol Hill neighborhood before the end of the year.

Not to be a cheeseball (though maybe I am) but yoga changed my life. You learn to watch, observe, and connect, physically and mentally. And more than anything, it’s fun! Everyone likes adult playtime 😉

I love that yoga is such a calming and relaxing method of exercise, yet one that will tighten all of your muscles and make you look more toned! And to be honest, I love that sore feeling the next morning.
