Safeway’s team recently contacted to let me know of their gas special going on now through Labor Day.  While I don’t own a car, my boyfriend does and I often fill up the tank for him since he lets me drive it whenever I need.  Filling up your tank always creates a dent in my pocket book and I’m always keeping my eye out for deals…enter: Safeway!

Here’s a list of Safeway gas stations in the Seattle area. I usually go to the one in West Seattle when visiting friends who live in that hood.

So here’s how you can save on gas when you visit Safeway:

• spend money on groceries or at the pharmacy – you get one point for every dollar spent
• buy gift cards! Every qualifying gift cards (including ones for Amazon and AMC Theatres) gives you 4 points for every dollar spent

Then you can use your points to save money on gas.
