One of my favorite food & drink events returns February 20 & 21: The Seattle Wine and Food Experience. I’m so thrilled to be able to give away tickets to the Grand Tasting to one of my readers! But first, here’s a little about these two events:

The weekend will kick off with Pop! Bubbles & Seafood on Saturday night at McCaw Hall in Seattle Center. Pop! will feature the Pacific Northwest’s bounty of seafood (salmon, oysters, clams, shrimp, and more) paired with more than 30 sparkling wines from around the world. Cold beer, chilled cider, refreshing white wines and a selection of premium red wines (in the new Reserve Red Room!) will round out the beverages for the evening. The weekend continues on Sunday with the Eighth Annual Seattle Wine & Food Grand Tasting; a deluxe showcase for wine, beverage, food and lifestyle in the Northwest. Wines from the Northwest and beyond are featured along with local and regional beer, cider and spirits. Food is a major highlight and includes top culinary talent and tastemakers serving up their latest creations. Guests stroll through the event as they taste through diverse wines and learn first hand directly from the producers. Artisan food purveyors, sensory experiences, educational elements and more will be part of this event.
