Get your dancing shoes ready! One of my favorite bands to see live—MarchFourth!—returns to Seattle to end their tour at Showbox at the Market on March 5! This “SteamFunk Rock-n-Roll Circus Party” band will fill your heart with joy, with their booty shaking sound, vaudeville-style dancers, stilt-walkers (who came into the audience last year!), enthusiastic musicians and vibrant costumes.

“This is not a band that simply “puts on a show.” MarchFourth! delivers a multi-faceted, indelible experience for those who are lucky enough to be in attendance,” their website accurately boasts.

Funk, rock, jazz, Afro-beat, Gypsy brass and Big Band collide for one incredible experience that will leave you feeling out of this world! 90% of the material is original music. The band features five percussionists, seven horns, plus bass, guitar, vocals. Check out the two videos below to get an idea of what the shows feel like.

Seeing them perform live was one of the highlights of 2015 for me and many friends and I’m thrilled these musicians and dancers will be back again this Saturday. Tickets are going fast, so snag yours here (or save some fees by visiting the box office on Wednesday or Friday between 10am and 2pm).
