UPDATE: I got word they added Fremont and Ballard uberREMIX zones today!

Yeah, you already know I’m a big fan of Uber. I was one of the first people who got to try the app before it launched in Seattle back in the day and was instantly hooked. I love their customer service and have been really enjoying their new uberPOOL service.

The folks at Uber let me know of a fun promotion happening in the 425 (Eastside!) and Fremont and Ballard this weekend.  It’s pretty swanky. Not only do you get a chance to take a ride in a sports car, VW bus (What?! YES PLEASE!) or other unique vehicle, your ride will be FREE! You’ve never ridden in an uber like these.

Uber’s teamed up with Hershey’s TAKE5 bar to provide you with these fun rides (and of course you can enjoy one of these chocolate bars during the ride). Yup, free rides (up to 20 minutes in the Eastside, Ballard, or Fremont uberREMIX zones) PLUS CHOCOLATE. Friday, June 24 & Saturday, June 25 from 2-8 pm in the uberREMIX zones.
