Mark your calendar for July 10th for one rockin’ event on the Seattle waterfront: Wine Rocks! Every year the date is announced, I perk up with anticipation for this annual wine event! This event, which tends to sell out in advance, not only offers a casual, approachable wine tasting party, it also offers great views and sounds! Some winery folks seem to have something in common: they share a love of music along with their love of vino. Wine Rocks blends these two passions into one fun event, as winery folks take the stage with their bands to delight attendees with a mix of covers and original tunes.
With forty wineries participating this year, you’re sure to discover some new favorites. This event also benefits the University District Food Bank.
This event tends to sell out. I’ll be visiting the Olympic Sculpture Park’s Summer At SAM kick off event at 6pm and then will head to Wine Rocks with a friend! See you there?
