The Black Cat Bash returns October 22nd for its third year! This incredibly fun event (one of my favorite dance parties of the year) is a benefit for the Seattle Humane Society. NOW is your chance to get tickets. You can also enter to win a pair of tickets below.

It’s the weekend before the main halloween party weekend, so it gives all of us costume enthusiasts a great reason to get dressed up again! Plus, friends with kids will have a much easier time finding a sitter so they can come out and boogie.

If you love pop, classic alternative, and 80s/90s/00s/today guilty pleasures like I do, the music will get you moving on the dance floor all night long. Kitty Valentine (my friend Kate) started these parties to help raise money for a great cause and to offer a fun dance experience for those of us looking for alternatives outside the electronic music scene. Shindig Events (my favorite Seattle party planner) is also a part of this event to help add special extra touches to the experience.
