Let me make a quick plea to restaurant owners everywhere:

Please install more hooks in your restaurants and bars!

Most important: bathroom stalls. It’s always surprising to close the door on a bathroom stall and not find a hook! We need somewhere to put our purse or coat besides the floor.

A close second: Do you have stools at a counter or tall chairs at a table? Install purse hooks underneath so we can keep our purses off the floor and away from germs. I’m amazed how many places still don’t have hooks under counters and tables and am always delighted to find those who do.

Installing hooks is generally a simple step and does not go unnoticed.
