Cider Summit is offering at-home cider tasting experiences this year (rather than having an in-person event).
This is a great way to experience new-to-you ciders as you experience a fun at-home tasting experience. Brandon and I are going to make a date-night experience with the WA Harvest kit, which I’ll pick up in South Lake Union in September.
Cider Summit allows folks to choose between drive-through pick-up OR delivery (both in WA State and other states) for the tasting kits. There are THREE kits to choose from. (Order by September 1 for delivery in Washington State or delivery, order by August 29 for delivery outside of WA State).
Their kits this year include:
Washington Harvest (this is the one I’m going to get) which includes a range of six Washington-based ciders “selected to reflect the changing season.”
Global Selections which includes a range of six ciders from many of the world’s notable cider producing countries including France, England, Spain, Germany, British Columbia & California.
and
NW Refreshers which includes a unique assortment of eight refreshing ciders & seltzers.
Cider Summit will also be providing Tasting Notes for every selection and some of the cidermakers will be creating videos to guide you through their tasting.
